The situation
New update on the situation with the evacuation of orphans and the family. Roman, the founder of the orphanage, recently gave us the following information.
Dear friends.
Thank you so much, sincerely, thank you so much for not leaving us or Ukraine during this difficult time! With your help, we evacuated 157 orphans between the ages of 1 and 17 to Freiburg. These are children who have grown up in their father's house and the state orphanage in the village of Kopyliv.
We managed to get them out in time, because literally the next day Kopyliv was occupied by Russian soldiers, and the Father's house came under fire and attacked Russian troops against Kyiv. The second wave was the evacuation of 7 family-type orphanages to Poland (70 children and 14 adults). We are now preparing to continue the evacuation with a total of 112 orphaned children and families from Freiburg to Sweden in the near future.
