The children at the orphanage were evacuated last night together with several accompanying adults, before the Kyiv invasion began, in the orphanage there is also a project called "Mother and child together" A project where we help families who need support, housing and protection. As feared, not all families could be evacuated but some families were forced to stay. The children and mothers have been moved into the basement of the orphanage where we hope they are safe. We hope that the war will soon be over, but we must already now find ways and opportunities to help the families who remain

Good news. The children have now crossed the border into the next country and are leaving Ukraine behind.
